Meet Lyn

Distinguished Professor Lyn Griffiths is the director of the Centre for Genomics and Personalised Health at QUT. Lyn has been studying the genes involved in common human disorders for many years, her expertise is in the field of human gene mapping and molecular genetics. Lyn established and heads the Genomics Research Centre at QUT where research focuses on identifying the genes involved in complex disorders, including migraine, CADASIL (hereditary stroke) and other neurogenetic disorders as well as concussion, memory and metabolic disorders. The NATA accredited laboratory also undertakes regular diagnostic testing for six human migraine related neurogenetic disorders. Lyn is a member of several medical advisory boards for industry and charitable foundations and is the director of the MTPconnect Bridge and BridgeTech commercialisation training programs.
