Developing communication strategies for social change against sorcery related violence in Papua New Guinea

Communication and advocacy is a key component of the Papua New Guinea Government’s Sorcery National Action Plan (SNAP). This project integrates participatory design and communication for social change approaches in the development of communication strategies. Through arts-led approaches and participatory action research this project will identify and develop key narratives, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, to develop communication material that is locally appropriate and acceptable. The project contributes to evidence-based efforts to reduce sorcery related violence in Papua New Guinea and globally.
