Erica has worked at QUT for more than ten years. During that time she has taken leadership roles on the Equity Board and as Chair of the Faculty of Business Equity Committee. She is currently the President of the Equal Opportunity Practitioners Association Queensland and on the board of the Equal Employment Opportunity Network Australasia.

Erica’s research is primarily in the areas of equal employment opportunity and managing diversity and she is particularly interested in strategic organisational change. Erica is engaged in collaborative research projects which examine woman in management and is widely published in Australia and internationally in these areas. Her current research is investigating the position of women in management and equal opportunity specific to various industries including finance, transport and local government.
