Post Doctoral Research Fellow | Dr Yancong Xie is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Future Enterprise within QUT Business School . Yancong’s background is in management information systems, mathe matics, and computer science. Yancong uses analytical angles to investigate paradox phenomenon. His current research project aims to systematically conceptualize paradoxical strategies and explore the nuances of paradoxical strategies in different scenario s. The expected research outputs will be a manual to guide the implementation of paradoxical strategies in practice, and a simulation education tool for business leaders to experiment with their contextualized paradoxical strategies. Yancong is also doing research on applying paradoxical strategies to build organizational robustness that can survive adversarial attacks. Besides paradoxical strategies, Yancong’s research interests also include digital innovations, trust, and online product reviews. Yancong h as published articles appearing in journals including Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management and Sustainability, and in various premier conference proceedings including International Conference on Information Systems
