Chief Investigator | Prof Green has, over many years, studied and published about how information systems can be designed to faithfully represent and track the states of real-world systems. This work is now being applied to the measurement of trust and its representation in computer-based dashboards.

Peter F. Green is currently Professor of Accounting, School of Accountancy, QUT.  From 2014 – 2019, he was Professor and Head of School, School of Accountancy, QUT.  Prior to that role, from 2004-2013, Dr Green was Professor of eCommerce at the University of Queensland.  Dr Green has qualifications in Accounting, Computer Science, and a PhD in Commerce (Information Systems) from the University of Queensland.  He is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants ANZ, a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Graduate of the AICD.  From 2009-2014, Dr Green served as a non-executive director on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).  He has worked during his career as the Systems Support Manager at the South-East Queensland Electricity Board (SEQEB), for a Chartered Accountancy firm, and a Queensland government department.  Dr Green has over 100 refereed journal and conference publications.  His publications have appeared in such internationally refereed journals as MIS Quarterly, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Accounting and Finance, and Journal of Information Systems (AAA).
