Erwin Fielt is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Information Systems of the Science and Engineering Faculty at QUT.
Erwin Fielt’s ambitions are to understand the role of Information Technology (IT) in our economy and society and to use this understanding to support individuals and organizations with the development of new value propositions and different ways of organizing.
Erwin Fielt’s research and teaching focus on the intersection between business and IT where new technologies and applications have to create value for organizations and individuals, in particular innovation, strategy and business models.
He has experience in the IT industry as researcher, consultant and practitioner and has a PhD from the Delft University of Technology and a MSc from the University of Twente, both in the Netherlands. Erwin Fielt has presented his research at national and international outlets to practitioners and academia.
