Dr Erwin Fieltis a Senior Lecturer at the School of Information Systems, Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Working at the intersection of business and IT, Erwin’s research on paradoxes focuses on managing paradoxical tensions in relation to the business value of IT, digital innovation (digital platforms in particular), and business models. He is also interested in dealing with multiple paradoxes and developing practical tools that can support managers and entrepreneurs in benefitting from paradoxical thinking. As a researcher and consultant, Erwin has collaborated successfully with many organizations in different sectors such as banking, insurance, government, consumer electronics, manufacturing, telecom, health care, government, and IT. He has published his researchin esteemed academic journals and conferences, such as the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information & Management Electronic Markets, Business and Information Systems Engineering, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, and the International Conference on Information Systems.Erwin has a PhD from the Delft University of Technology (Information systems) and a MSc from the University of Twente in the Netherlands (Industrial engineering and Management)
