The Future of the Organisation
Public lecture by visiting Prof Richard Watson
presented by QUT Centre for Future Enterprise
This presentation will consider what is constant and what is changing. The constant is the capital creation system, with its six types of capital and five types of systems used to convert or enhance capital. The changes considered are the shift in dominant logic & ESG, the energy transition, growth and expansion of cognitive computing, and the development of powerful knowledge monopolies. This talk will provide senior executives with actionable insights to increase the capital productivity of their organisations. It will expose scholars to a fundamentally novel way of conceptualising organisations and opportunities for ground-breaking research.
