Alex Dreiling, CEO, Clipchamp
Prior to founding Clipchamp, Alex was an Associate Professor, Industry-funded Chair and Digital Innovation Theme Leader at QUT as well as a Research Program Manager at SAP. Over the past 20 years, Alex has been driving an agenda of digital innovation in each of his roles. At SAP he was responsible for working with customers on entirely new product ideas. Together with Google he drove the first major visible collaboration between SAP and Google. At QUT he founded the Aviation Innovation Network, drove Brisbane Airport’s Digital Strategy and led the Digital Disruption theme at QUT’s Institute for Future Environments. At Clipchamp he oversaw the launch of several products, the growth of Clipchamp’s platform to more than 10 million registered users, and secured funding in excess of US$11m from a variety of sources.
Meredith Staib, CEO, Royal Flying Doctor Service (Qld)
Meredith Staib is the CEO of Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section). Since joining in August 2018, she has initiated a transformation and growth strategy to lead RFDS into its 100th year of operation. Prior to RFDS Meredith was CEO of Zurich’s global medical assistance business, World Travel Protection – overseeing business in Australia, China, Malaysia, Toronto and LATAM. And before that Chief Operating Officer for Cover-More Group’s health portfolio, providing the largest employee assistance business in ANZ. In 2020, Meredith became a director on the Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ) Hospital and Health Board, a specialist hospital and health service dedicated to providing family-centred healthcare for children and young people state-wide. Meredith is a member of Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Advisory Council Thankful4Farmers, and Crisis Cover Global Advisory Committee. She has a Master’s in Health Management and is a Registered Nurse.
Trent Lund, Founder & CEO, Unlocked Ventures
Trent is the CEO of Unlocked Ventures. A globally-experienced,senior executive who works with clients and investors to UNLOCK opportunities, talent and value. Previously, Trent was the Lead Partner for Innovation & Ventures at PwC Australia, where he helped organisations leverage emerging technologies to innovate new business models. At PwC, Trent held roles leading Customer Impact Consulting, Firmwide Innovation & Ventures, was part of the 2020 leadership team and co-designed the PwC Global Venture and Innovation model. With PwC Ventures, Trent led the development of over eight Technology platforms, 30 digital products and established one of Australia’s leading innovation programs. Trent is currently a Board Director of Unlocked Ventures, PaidRight Pty Ltd, Company Path Pty Ltd, Accelerate Compliance Pty Ltd and XportID Pty Ltd, and on the Advisory Board of the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision and was a co-sponsor of the QUT Chair in Digital Economy.

Colin Kinner, Founder and CEO, Startup Onramp
Colin is one of Australia’s leading experts in startup methodology. He has been a startup community leader for more than twenty years, having run several incubators and accelerators, early stage venture funds, Silicon Valley missions and other programs. Through Startup Onramp he provides online and in-person training and mentoring to hundreds of early-stage entrepreneurs in Australia and internationally. He is passionate about helping startup founders be successful by learning from experiences of others. Colin is a thought leader in startup ecosystem development, has written extensively on the topic and advised federal, state and local governments on entrepreneurship policies and programs.
Prof Mark Harvey, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and Vice-President (Business Development) at QUT
Professor Mark Harvey is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and Vice-President (Business Development) at QUT, a position he commenced in March 2019. Prior to this he was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) at the University of Southern Queensland. In this role he leads QUT’s Division of Business Development, which oversees the development and management of strategic partnerships with external individuals and organisations in the pursuit of QUT corporate objectives and priorities. Prior to this, Professor Harvey spent seven years in the venture capital industry. Most recently he was a Partner with CM Capital Investments, one of Australia’s leading venture capital companies with over $250 million under management, and prior to this he was the CEO of an early stage investment and development company and worked with UniQuest, the commercialization company of the University of Queensland. Professor Harvey has been on the Board of Directors of ASX and NASDAQ listed public companies, a member of the Investment Committee of two university seed funds, a member of numerous granting panels including Queensland Government Smart State investment programs and a member on the board of directors of AusBiotech Ltd, the industry body for the Australian Life Sciences sector. Professor Harvey is currently a Director of Sunsuper Pty Ltd and Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland and has a PhD in Physiology and a MBA from the University of Queensland.
Monica Bradley, Managing Director, Purposeful Capital and Member, QUT Council
Monica is a Non Executive Director specialising in innovation strategy, global trade (finance, logistics, procurement), emerging technologies and driving new revenues, customer engagement and efficiencies from digital investment. Monica has held global executive roles in business development, strategy, ESG and investment roles in New York, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Perth, Canberra and Brisbane, and has advised governments, startups and venture capitalists on innovation and technology investment. She has managed P&L to $200m, revenue responsibilities for up $500m and program budgets up to $100m. She is an active investor in early stage start-ups and social impact enterprises and advisors private equity and venture capital funds drawing on deep understanding of valuations, ROI’s, emerging business models and investor networks. Monica is a SheEO Activator, and currently a NED for Benchon and Container Exchange, and advisory member for QIC and Beyond Zero Emissions.
