On 3 July 2023, the longstanding collaboration between MIT Sloan and QUT Business School was brought to life – and to the stage – in Brisbane, Australia, and featured some of the leading innovation thinkers from across the world. The MIT/QUT Live Event: Building Innovation Ecosystems, the on-stage evolution of The Future Enterprise global webinar series, aimed to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing entrepreneurs and innovators today.
Speakers included The Hon. Stirling Hinchliffe MP, Minister for Tourism, Innovation and Sport and Minister Assisting the Premier on Olympics and Paralympics Sport and Engagement; Professor Margaret Sheil AO, QUT Vice-Chancellor and President; and Professor Amanda Gudmundsson, Executive Dean of QUT’s Faculty of Business and Law, each highlighting the importance of creating innovation ecosystems where ideas can be shared and collaboration can take place, whether locally or globally.
