Webinar: Navigating the PhD Process

Navigating the PhD Process: Tips for the Major Milestones

This webinar, presented by Professor Peter Green, provided tips to HDR students for navigating the major milestones involved in undertaking the PhD process at QUT, specifically Stage 2, Confirmation and Final Seminar.  In doing so, Professor Green suggests how students can plan tasks for each year roughly of the PhD so that they can successfully navigate each critical milestone in a timely manner. Following the presentation, time will be available for interaction and questions with the participants. HDR students should obtain from the webinar an improved understanding of some of the major tasks they have to undertake, given their particular stage in their own programs.

Please note that specific questions and content surrounding potential patents, intellectual property and commercialisation involved in their work should be referred to the Graduate Student Centre.
