In February 2016, Professor Paula McDonald presented an invited seminar at the Australasian College of Sports Physicians annual conference at the Marriott Hotel Gold Coast. The address was titled “Not just bad apples: Sexual harassment in sports medicine”. In this presentation she made the case that the sexual harassment of women and some men in medicine and in sports presents substantial legal, ethical and cultural questions for the profession.
