The purpose of this project is to understand the organisation of platform-mediated care work through three different perspectives: (1) platform workers who use digital platforms to offer care services, (2) digital platforms that mediate the organisation of care services, and (3) platform users i.e. care seekers who access and engage care workers via digital platforms. We are interested in understanding how the experiences and expectations of different stakeholders in platform-mediated care work shape work conditions.
