Dealing with the Media: Tips and Tricks with Professor Andrew Stewart

CDWI hosts employment law expert Andrew Stewart, University of Adelaide on Thursday 2 November for an informal discussion of some of the do’s and don’ts when it comes to sharing your expertise through the mass (non-social) media. This event is open to anyone wanting to get a better sense of utilising the media, including HDR students.

This is an in-person event to be held at QUT Gardens Point campus.

About the presenter

Professor Andrew StewartAndrew Stewart is the John Bray Professor of Law at the University of Adelaide, Adjunct Professor with QUT’s Centre for Decent Work & Industry, and a consultant with the national law firm Piper Alderman. A pre-eminent expert on employment law and workplace relations, he has decades of experience in advising employers, trade unions and governments at all levels on legal and policy issues.

His recent research has focused, among other things, on wage stagnation, digital platform work, child employment, and work-based training.
