Why are we doing this?

This project will allow us to design a better approach to possibly prevent or treat irritable bowel diseases, allergies and mood disorders.

Context

Nearly one billion people globally suffer from allergies responsible for significant morbidity and reduced quality of life, such as irritable bowel diseases, allergies and mood disorders.

We propose to understand the mechanisms that educate the immune system and promote regulatory responses.
