Susannah is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and PhD candidate in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at QUT. She completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at QUT and has worked as a dietitian in education, research and community settings in Brisbane. Her main area of interest is in the development of eating behaviours early in childhood and how this impacts long-term health-related outcomes.
Within the Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research, her research aims to explore feeding interactions between parents and siblings, using a mixed-methods design. This program of research will facilitate an understanding of how parents navigate mealtimes with siblings on a day-to-day basis, so that feeding interventions may be tailored to better suit their needs and priorities.
