
Phd in Public Health (Title: Australian policy levers for the early prevention of obesity in childhood)
Dr Emma Esdaile is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research and Project Lead for the #SchoolFoodies Project. This project aims to promote universal access to quality food and nutrition education and optimal school food environments within a range of local contexts among Queensland primary schools. Emma is a dietitian and nutritionist with over 10 years’ experience in preventive health. She has worked with families around food and nutrition in clinical, community and research settings. Emma recently completed a PhD in Public Health from The University of Sydney which explored the policy levers for the early prevention of obesity in childhood.
