Area of Focus: Energy and Fluid Mechanics Dr. Thuy Chu Van is a Research Fellow in the Science and Engineering Faculty at QUT, a member of the Biofuel Engine Research Facility (BERF) and a member of the International Laboratory for Air Quality and Health (ILAQH). His disciplines of expertise are Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, which are commonly referred to as Thermofluids because of their close relationship in many Engineering applications. Thuy's research interests include applied thermodynamics, internal combustion engines, renewable/alternative energy, smog formation, emissions/dispersion, environmental fluid mechanics.
