Cameron is currently the Head of the School of Management at QUT. He commenced his professional life in the finance services sector where he held various management positions following completion of a Bachelor of Commerce. He later completed a conjoint Masters and PhD in Organisational Psychology at The University of Queensland before joining the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, later moving to the School of Management. Cameron is actively involved in research related to organisational culture, organisational effectiveness, innovation, and clean energy market development. He is a Chief Investigator in the Centre for METS Business Innovation. He is also co-lead of the Market and Sector Development Program in the Future Energy Exports CRC. He has received more than 45 small and large external grants totalling over $5.2M
