  • Electrodeposition of metallic and bimetallic nanostructured materials
  • Electrocatalytic and catalytic studies on nanostructured materials and identification of active sites
  • Electrocatalytic reactions such as oxygen evolution reaction, hydrogen evolution reaction, oxygen reduction, CO2 reduction and nitrogen conversion to ammonia
  • Electrochemical based sensing
  • Utilising techniques such as scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) and Fourier Transform ac voltammetry to study electron transfer processes at the solid solution interface
  • Development of substrates for Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy
  • Investigation of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer on Li electrodes for Li battery technology
  • General application of electrochemical principles for studying chemical, physical and biological processes
