Zachery graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor in Electronic and Biomedical Engineering (Hons 1). He began his PhD in 2019 with the contact lens and visual optics laboratory with the school of optometry, where his project involves creating a novel clinical way of measuring the anterior eye biomechanics.
