LAITH ALZUBAIDI is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Mechanical, Medical, and Process Engineering at the Queensland University of Technology ( QUT), Australia.
In 2022, Laith completed his PhD in the field of medical imaging analysis with deep learning from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. He also holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Missouri (2016), USA. He has been awarded two scholarships; the first was received during his master’s degree, and a second scholarship was awarded by QUT for his Ph.D. He has published more than 53 refereed research papers. He is collaborating with other researchers around the world, including the USA, UK, Spain, Australia, and Malaysia, leading to more than 25 joint research publications.
He reviews papers for more than 53 journals, including IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Artificial Intelligence Review, Information Fusion, Pattern Recognition, etc. Currently, he leads two special issues for two highly reputed journals. He was awarded several grants for deep learning for medical applications. Laith has received more than 3,700 citations in a short time.
