Doctor of Philosophy (Queensland University of Technology)
Joshua Arthur began his Bachelor of Science degree at QUT in 2014, majoring in physics and minoring in astrophysics and environmental science. For his Honours year in 2017, he studied methods to tune the electroluminescence spectrum of organic light emitting diodes. He received the QUT Medal in 2017 for academic excellence. In 2018, Joshua began his PhD, endeavouring to understand the sensing mechanism of hygroscopic insulator organic thin film transistors. He received the Dean’s Commendation Award in 2022 for his PhD thesis. Joshua presently works at QUT as a Sessional Academic and Research Associate, continuing his work on organic transistors with Dr Soniya Yambem.
