  • Research area My research group carry out ground breaking projects in the areas of on analytical chemistry, Raman spectroscopy (direct Raman, surface enhanced Raman, standoff Raman and deep Raman), optical & electrochemical sensors, nanomaterials for water desalination and nanoformulations for drug delivery My research projects aim to utilize analytical and spectroscopy sciences for mutiple applications in the areas of helath, molecular diagnosis, forensics, national security and environmental monitoring.
  • I lead the Raman research group at QUT. Under my leadership the group carries out several multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with many QUT, national and international collaborators.
