Zishuo Zhu’s research focuses on driver expectations and driver behaviour in human-centric explainable automated vehicles (XAV). Specifically, it investigates what expectations of drivers have before and after the trip in an AV on the road, how AV can provide information to human drivers, what type of information, and what difficulties/behaviours AV may encounter during the journey that drivers should learn.
