Catherine is a Research Officer at CARRS-Q and is also a computer programmer of 20 years experience. Previously, Catherine worked for Australian Defence Force contractors as a software developer until 2010 when she started her own web development company.  She has been a Technical Support Officer with the School of Psychology and Counselling since 2018 and has worked on a wide variety of research projects during this time. Catherine’s thesis developing hazard visibility tests for night-time roads is currently under examination. She is experienced in designing and creating desktop and web-based psychology experiments including visual perception tests, reaction-timed tests, surveys, and websites. Catherine has expertise in quantitative data analysis and data transformation. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Information Technology (honours), Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). Upon graduation Catherine was awarded both the Accenture Award for Excellence and the Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement in 2003.
