Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours Psychology), Master of Counselling

Bridget is a Research Officer at CARRS-Q, and has experience with both quantitative and qualitative research designs.  Prior to joining the team at CARRS-Q, she completed her own research projects as part of a Master of Counselling and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours Psychology), for which she received an Executive Dean’s Commendation for high achievement.

Bridget is also a registered Counsellor and has a background in clinical work, working with clients for six years before moving into the research space.  She has particular experience in working with adolescents and young adults, and in practice areas including crisis intervention, relationships and grief.

She brings her extensive clinical experience to her research work, where she particularly enjoys interviews and focus groups which align with her interest in listening deeply to understand people’s experiences.
