BSc of Civil Engineering (Highways & Bridges), MSc in Intelligent Transportation Systems

I am a PhD student in the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where I focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). I am particularly passionate about involving the latest advanced technologies in transportation systems to enhance safety, mobility, and quality of life.

I earned my BSc degree in Highways and Bridges Engineering from Al-Balqa’ Applied University in Amman, Jordan. During my studies, I became deeply interested in Traffic and Transportation Engineering, which led me to pursue advanced research, completing my MSc degree in Intelligent Transportation Systems from Al-Ahliyya Amman University in Amman, Jordan.

At QUT, my research explores the scientific framework to evaluate the performance of novice drivers involves establishing rigorous methodologies and metrics, with the goal of developing an AI-based monitoring, evaluation, and recommendation system. Through my research, I aim to contribute to road safety and vertical AI agents.

In addition to my ongoing research, I have published several articles in ESWA, IEEE, and MDPI. These articles address traffic management applications and applications of Multimodal Large Language Modelling (MLLM). I am always eager to collaborate with others in my field and look forward to further expanding my academic contributions.
