Data and Evaluation

In order to reduce the significant burden of injuries, there is a need to fully understand their nature and contributing circumstances.  A key aspect in achieving these goals is the availability of comprehensive and high quality data. The use of data are essential so that more in-depth epidemiological studies of risk can be conducted as well as effective evaluation of road safety interventions and programs.

The team at CARRS-Q are highly experienced in evaluation design, data collection, data quality assessment, data linkage and integration, statistical analysis and interpretation. Data sources have included survey, road crash, hospital, injury, ambulance, traffic offence, licensing, enforcement, traffic, road infrastructure, insurance, and industry.
