This project was established in response to the Parliamentary Inquiry into Cycling Issues conducted in Queensland.
This project undertook observations of all road user behaviour at a number of locations where cyclist volumes are high including locations with stop signs, signalised intersections with no slip lane, and zebra crossings.
Road user behaviour was quantified and analysed to develop recommendations that will improve road safety and road operations. This will help gain an understanding of current road user behaviours across a number of roadway features.
