Investigating the development of an evidence-based app to prevent drink driving using the Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS)

This project investigated the current mobile applications on the market aimed at reducing drink driving in at-risk individuals. It provided an in-depth review and analysis by undertaking a systematic application scan and applying the QUT-developed Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS). It is expected that this initial research will lead to new opportunities for funding to develop an evidence based native mobile app aimed at preventing drink driving without a ‘time until under the limit’ calculation.
