Md Mahmudul Hasan is an MPhil scholar applying his engineering knowledge to road safety applications, particularly relating to his research project of Bio-signal Processing for Driver Fatigue Detection & Brain Computer Interface (BCI) for ITS and AVs.

Formerly, he was a Lecturer of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET), Bangladesh from August 2016 to January 2019. Along with teaching and research activities, he was actively involved with club activities and worked as founder Vice President at BAUET Automation and Robotics Club (BARC). He has been involved in various multidisciplinary research projects, including EEG Biometrics, EEG based emotion detection, robotics and automation, and was awarded “Joy Bangla Youth Award-2015” as one of the top 200 Young Scientists by Centre for Research & Information (CRI), Bangladesh.
