Visiting research students
CARRS-Q offers placements to domestic and international students, advancing research and engagement between our partner universities and organisations. Many of our visiting research students return to CARRS-Q to undertake postgraduate research studies.
As part of your placement with CARRS-Q, we will work with you to develop a training plan which may include leadership development and cross-cultural research, to progress your skills in your area of study or employment.
You will be invited to actively participate in the full program of Centre activities offered to our researchers and students, and will be provided with access to QUT services and a working space within the Centre.
Your CARRS-Q supervisor will meet with you regularly to guide your training development and provide advice on your research timeline. We ask that you undertake your tasks in an independent and consultative manner and manage your own research timeline.
Our internships are unpaid, and you will be responsible for all expenses, including travel, food, accommodation, medical and insurance.
Email your CV, details of your current study and proposed dates of your visit to firstname.lastname@example.org. Should a suitable supervisor be available, we will contact you to discuss your application further.
