In response to the pressing challenges faced by Australia’s animal industries and the imperative to harness value from agricultural byproducts, our research program, the Sustainable Bioproducts Innovation Initiative, encompasses two pivotal projects at the forefront of biotechnology and sustainable resource management. Together, these projects constitute a comprehensive and innovative research program dedicated to advancing sustainable bioproducts, enhancing resource utilization, and contributing to the resilience and profitability of Australia’s agricultural and industrial sectors.
