At QUT we develop and deliver online training modules for operators of the raw sugar factory. These training modules are mapped to the developed national competency standards for the sugar industry and made available to all of the Australian sugar industry via the Australian Sugar Industry Training website and training platform.

Modules for operators covering all process stations from juice clarification to sugar drying have been completed.  Future developments cover extraction, boilers and laboratory skills and methods.
