Dr Shoufeng Cao is the lead research fellow in the Smart Trade Hubs Research Team at the QUT Design Lab. Shoufeng received his PhD degree from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. His research areas span from agri-trade, supply chain risk management, supply chain information systems, digital innovation and blockchain applications in supply chains to smart trade systems in the agri-food industry. His previous postdoctoral fellowship appointments at UQ and QUT were funded by industry-led CRCs, including the CRC for Developing Northern Australia, Food Agility CRC and Future Food Systems CRC. With the Food Agility CRC funded Export Smart Contract Project, Shoufeng and his team won two Good Design Australia Awards for their design-led innovative blockchain solutions for the Australia’s beef industry in 2020.
