Dr Carly Lassig is a Senior Lecturer in the QUT Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice with a passion for social justice, equity, and inclusion. Her research and teaching interests include inclusive education, the experiences and views of parents of children with disability, differentiation and inclusive pedagogies, gifted education, creativity, and grounded theory methodology.
Carly's background is as a primary and middle years teacher, having taught nationally and internationally. She also worked with Independent Schools Queensland to lead schools in implementing the Australian Curriculum. Carly conducts professional development for schools and higher education institutions in the areas of differentiation, Universal Design for Learning, and gifted education. She is on the editorial board of the Australasian Journal of Gifted Education.
