Dr Angela Baeza

Dr Angela Baeza Peña is Lecturer at the Carumba Institute at Queensland University of Technology and Manager of the International Journal of Critical Indigenous Studies. Angela is a Math teacher and has a Master in Education from Monash University and a Master in Learning Disabilities from PUC. Her research theorises the understanding of teachers’ experiences and Indigenous community members regarding providing Indigenous education in rural and remote areas. Angela’s PhD focused on teachers’ and Indigenous communities’ viewpoints about teacher preparation to teach in Indigenous contexts (the Atacameños community) in Chile. Her publications include several books and journal articles in English and Spanish.
