In an article in The Educator, Professor Linda Graham and Haley Tancredi discussed their study, which found significant improvements in student engagement when teachers used evidence-based strategies to support students with learning difficulties like ADHD and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). The research, conducted by Graham and Tancredi, as well as colleagues Dr Callula Killingly and Professor Naomi Sweller from Macquarie University, showed that simplifying lessons improved focus and comprehension for all students, particularly those facing learning challenges.
