Zang is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Burns and Trauma Research Laboratory, in the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI) at the Centre for Children’s Health Research. His PhD research focused on paediatric burn injury and utilizing advanced proteomic and metabolomics techniques to analyse burn blister fluid. He is currently focusing on discovering biomarkers in paediatric burn blister fluid to indicate patients’ clinical outcomes and examining the tissue pathology from burn injury to assist clinician decision making and treatment.
