Tuo Zang joined the group in December 2019 as a NHMRC Post-doctoral Research Fellow. Zang has a bioengineering background and in 2018 completed a PhD where paediatric blister fluid from burn injuries was quantitatively characterized using proteomics and metabolomics. His primary project will involve discovering biomarkers in the burn blister fluid of paediatric burns that may indicate clinical outcomes for patients.
