Associate Professor Leila Cuttle was an invited international speaker at the 12th Asia Pacific Burn Congress (APBC) in Singapore 14-17 August. The Congress theme was ‘Burn Care Excellence through Multidisciplinary Team Work’, Leila presented the team’s work on burn wound biomarkers, which is currently being funded by an NHMRC Project Grant. The 12th Congress provided an excellent platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the management of burn injuries as well as new findings in this area.
