MyScoliosis
Project dates: 01/06/2021 - Ongoing
A new patient-focused smartphone app, myScoliosis has been developed by the QUT BSRG team which includes Medical Engineers and specialist Spinal Orthopaedic Surgeons. The app aims to use innovative digital technology to educate teenagers about their scoliosis condition and support them throughout their personal healthcare journey. The myScoliosis app is freely available at no cost on both Apple and Android platforms, providing easy access to accurate, evidence-based, age appropriate educational content. The app also allows adolescents to keep a personal diary to document their healthcare journey and enhance their clinical care experience.
