Professor Peter Pivonka, A/Professors Geoff Askin and Robert Labrom were successful in securing $374,000 Industry Funding from Medtronic for the next two years (2018-2019). The funds will support research activities of the Biomechanics and Spine Research Group (BSRG) in “Understanding the mechanobiology of the adolescent spine and clinical spine deformity management”.
