The Orthopaedic Advisory Board (OAB) is an independent group comprised of world leading experts in spinal research from the QUT Biomechanics & Spine Research Group (BSRG).  The board collaborates with the Sealy Posturepedic Research & Development team on spinal alignment and sleep quality.  Sealy Posturepedic bedding has always been developed on a technical and research based foundation but their work with the OAB will ensure that going forward they will together help people get a better night’s sleep with products that are based on scientific research and knowledge that is real and applicable.

Working together with Sealy of Australia’s Research and Development team, the OAB has established the two key pillars of knowledge that through rigorous scientific study have found the ideal sleeping position for the body to ensure good quality sleep as well as the criteria to define the ideal range of joint positions and spinal alignment for male and female sleepers in the most common sleep positions.
