THE REDI PROGRAM:
The MTPConnect Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (REDI) Initiative is a $32M initiative supported by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF). The REDI Initiative is focused on developing the skills and training of Australia’s medical technology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and digital health sectors. The Bridge and BridgeTech Programs have been selected to form part of the REDI program by facilitating funded fellowships for Bridge and BridgeTech participants, alumni and selected participants.
The Bridge and BridgeTech REDI Program will specifically focus on enabling the REDI initiative through industry placement fellowships. The existing Bridge and BridgeTech Programs will be extended to provide this new industry enhanced internship program – providing industry fellowships for 10 pharma-based Bridge associated participants and 10 medtech-based BridgeTech associated participants per year, for four years from 2020-2024.
