Context
Improving the event log data quality is an important step towards process improvement. Unstructured text contents such as notes, comments, reviews are associated with processes and these text contents contain important information which is beneficial to gain insights about the processes. Events, event and case-related attributes, sub-processes and outcomes are available in these unstructured text contents. These attributes can be used to find the missing attributes, inconsistent records etc. Text2EL aims to enrich the quality of event logs by extracting important attributes from unstructured text contents. The events in the event logs are verified and enhanced based on extracted events and attributes from the text.
