Doctor of Philosophy (Queensland University of Technology)
Background:
Cameron Cole completed his Bachelor of Science degree at QUT in 2017. For his honours project Cameron studied enhancing the efficiency of organic photovoltaics through optical manipulation. Prior to commencing his PhD, Cameron worked on developing biosensors using organic electronics. In 2018, he began his PhD on ink-jet printable thermally activated delayed fluorescent polymers for organic light emitting diodes. Cameron received two nominations for the QUT Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award in 2023.
Current research:
Cameron is current working as a casual research assistant, developing ink-jet printed organic electrochemical transistors with Dr Soniya Yambem. While he is not researching, Cameron is teaching physics in a range of undergraduate units, including optics and experimental physics.
