Thesis topic
“Three essays on health economics in China”
Thesis project
My PhD thesis consists of three independent essays on health-related economics in China. The first essay focuses on how to promote local health resources and reduce health inequalities in China from the perspective of government structure. The second and third essays shed more light on people’s perception of health information and its corresponding health consequences, from the viewpoint of behavioural economics. In addition, I am also interested in observing the diffusion of health technologies by using the economics of patents.
