Dr. Viet-Ngu (Vincent) Hoang is Senior Lecturer at School of Economics and Finance (Queensland University of Technology). He is a member of Centre for Behavioural Economics, Society and Technology. He is also a founding member of Environmental Economics and Public Policy Research Group at QUT. He teaches cost and benefit analysis and contemporary application of economic theories. His research areas include behavioural studies (individual, family and organisational levels), agricultural sustainability, efficiency and productivity analysis, development and health economics. His work has been published in tier 1 journals. He is also a member of OECD’s Expert Network on Agricultural Total Factor Productivity (TFP) and the Environment. Vincent received several grants from QUT, Japan’s Nomura Foundation and Tokyo for Economic Research Center. Before moving into academia, Vincent had spent five years working with many multinational corporations including Unilever, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, P&G, ADB, Intel, Coca Cola, and Mercedes Benze. He himself was an entrepreneur and had start-up experience in Vietnam.
