Next on the list is The Imitation Game. We will take the opportunity to discuss Alan Turing’s work, his life, the start of AI, ideas that gave birth the computer age, and how the Enigma Machine worked.

In 1939, newly created British intelligence agency MI6 recruits Cam-bridge mathematics alumnus Alan Tu-ring (Benedict Cumberbatch) to crack Nazi codes, including Enigma — which cryptanalysts had thought un-breakable. Turing’s team, including Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley), analyse Enigma messages while he builds a machine to decipher them. Turing and team finally succeed and become heroes, but in 1952, the quiet genius encounters disgrace when authorities reveal he is gay and send him to prison.
